1st- I arrested a male, in London Street, on warrant. The male had forgotten to attend court apparently!

Also: I’m a bit of a motorbike enthusiast. I saw this beauty in the rear yard of Basingstoke station today.

2nd- I arrested a male on suspicion of stealing aftershave from TK MAXX. The male was remanded and he will attend court in the morning. I must say that I was very impressed with the quality of CCTV from TK MAXX.

In other news: Man punched, on the back of his head, in Oakridge. The victims mobile phone was stolen. Can you help identify the suspects? If you can, call tel: 101 or crime stoppers. (News Link)

5th- I passed my ‘Personal Safety Training’ for another year!

6th- I and others from the neighbourhoods team, took part in a drugs warrant, in the town. Later, I looked after a violent suspect at A&E. The male was recalled to prison.

10th- I took part in a theft operation in the town centre. I located two youths stealing from the 99p store! Parents have been updated.

15th- PCSO Bex Mason and PC Kerry Hayman attended the Popley Fields Community Centre for the youth club.
Bex got involved with some table skills.

16th- I arrested a male, in Kings Road, on warrant. The male will attend court in the morning. *Update* the original offence was public order related. The male received over £250, in fines, at court.

Later, I issued a community resolution to a youth, in Marlowe Close. The male had been found with cannabis.

21st- I arrested a male, in Basingstoke town centre, on suspicion of theft. Officers from the ‘Neighbourhoods Teams’ joined me as part of an anti ‘purse theft’ operation.

23rd- I arrested a very drunk male, at the train station, for breaching a court condition. Luckily for the male a decision was made to take him home, to Winchester, rather than a night in the cells.

26th- Whilst on route to Popley, I located a male wanted, for a shoplifting offence, in Winchester. I reported the male for the offence. The male admitted the offence and he will attend court in due course.

Later, whilst patrolling Oakridge, I saw a vehicle parked fully on the pavement in Warton Road. The vehicles owner has been issued with a warning leaflet. I will monitor the area and issue fixed penalties if needed.


I arrested a male, on Kingsclere Road, on suspicion of theft. The male had £90 of stolen food, from Morrisons. The job has been handed to district CID to continue with the investigation. *Update* Due to the suspects previous bad character he was remanded to court. I will update you with the court result in due course. *Update* the male received over £200 in fines.

30th- Officers from the ‘Neighbourhoods Police Team’ took part in another town centre operation to prevent theft. I crewed with PC Aiden Blackwell. Earlier in the day, a mobile phone was stolen from the Carphone Warehouse. Aiden arrested the suspect and I arrested a male, in connection with the case, on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
