The January Bulletin 2015 – PC Dan Carter Reports

2- My first day back this year. I crewed with PC Harrison to patrol Popley and Kempshot. I located a car, parked in Teal Crescent, with cannabis on the passenger seat!
Later, I located The car owner, and I issued the male with a cannabis warning.

In other news: I reported graffiti, to the council, via fix my street. The unsightly graffiti was on the side of a house in Abbey Road.
The Report

7th- I chaired the first PSNP meeting of the year. The PSNP voted on drugs, as an issue, to tackle.

8th- I located a male, smoking a Cannabis spliff, at the rear of the train station. The male received a cannabis street warning.

10th- I located a male, on Hatchwarren Way, with cannabis. The male received a cannabis warning.

10th- I’m on the new ‘Neighbourhood Policing Team Course’ next week. I will be back on the 20th of Jan. Stay safe.

12th- Street robbery, again, in Popley. This was reported, by the Gazette, today. The incident happened in the 9th of January. News Link

In other news: I have completed a week long training course at police Headquarters. I was on the very first ‘Neighbourhood Policing Team’ course, learning about my roles, and responsibilities in the new world. From April 2015, we will no longer be called the ‘Safer Neighbourhood Teams’. I had a very interesting time at the course. I am looking forward to getting stuck in. I will update you more as my role evolves.

16th- Most Hampshire officers to receive, personal issue, body worn cameras, by the end of the year. News on body worn video

24th- PC Rich Harrison, and I, assisted shift officers with various jobs across town. The jobs included assault, noise disputes, and neighbour issues.

25th- I arrested a male on suspicion of common assault, and on suspicion of breach of a restraining order. Unfortunetly, all the cells were full at Basingstoke so the chap was escorted to Aldershot. CID will be investigated the offences.

26th- For the first half of my duty I looked after a vulnerable male in Basingstoke custody.

Later I crewed with PC Harrison to patrol Buckskin. PC Harrison arrested a male outside the CO-OP on suspicion of possession of a machete!

29th- I took details of a suspicious incident at CMT, Wade Rd. In the early hours of the 28th of January, two vehicles pull up at the company. Four men exit the vehicles and cause damage to property. If you recognise the vehicles, please let me know.

30th- I attended Sentinel Housing Association for a multi agency meeting.

31st- It was a mixed bag today. I made warrant arrest attempts in Popley, and other areas. I also seized some cannabis, near Asda, in Brighton Hill.
